Since its inception, Lunawat Gems Corporation has been in the coloured gemstone business since 1972. In 2006, the group established Lunawat Gems, its SEZ manufacturing facility in Jaipur.

1987
In the year 1987, the founder’s endearing passion for learning and entrepreneurial mindset merged to shape an idea deeply rooted in trust and quality. By 1989, the company had achieved a turnover of 5 lakh, which soared to 20 lakh within a year.
Over the years, following his younger brother’s 1991 joining, they expanded the name of Lunwat Gemstone through international travels to Germany, Italy, Spain, and the USA, opening doors to a global market.
2000s
The early 2000s witnessed Lunawat’s diversification into Jewelry, led by his younger brother, and a robust recovery from the market challenges in 2006-2007. During this period, vendors and clients showed their support, affirming the company’s reputation as a trusted partner.
2010
2010 celebrated the establishment of a factory at Sitapura, marking the beginning of a new chapter. With a dedicated focus on manufacturing high-quality gemstones, the company achieved a harmonious amalgamation of traditional craftsmanship and modern technologies. By 2012, the workforce had grown exponentially to 150 employees and now comprises a family of over 700 employees, meeting the increasing global demand for premium gemstones.
2015
In 2015, the next generation joined the legacy under the leadership of ‘Siddharth and Shrenik Lunawat joined the business, strengthening manufacturing, marketing and operations. The group now exhibits at HKTDC Hong Kong, Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, GJX Tucson, IIJS, GemGeneve and VicenzaOro.’
